This Art of Mine

Had a fabulous day out at Kate and Gemma Blackers – This Art of Mine studio and Peonie fields in Kent with David Giles of   We took trillions of photos – completely in the zone. Even though it was coming to the end of peonie season the dieing flowers were still very beautiful.Just so many amazing flowers and wonderful to be out in the countryside with the chickens and a turkey. I know, a turkey.

Kate kindly gave us access to her pristine studios where you can paint onto ceramic ready made shapes eg onto hearts, bowls etc. They run fantastic classes and people come from miles around to learn and enjoy their hospitality and fun. So go and see for yourself. You know you want to :)

After Kates we pootled along in my ancient motor till we came across the Yeomans house. OMG!!!! Itssss soooooo gorgeous. There again great hospitality from the man who looks after the house and grounds. I was imagining living there . Almost chocolate box scenes. Infact dont everyone go or it will spoil the ambience ;) peonie1copy peonie2copy peonie copy Yeomans1copy Yeomanscopy
